Hi guys! 👋🏻 How’s everyone keeping!? 😊 I myself have been having a little bit of a rough few weeks. I’ve never been shy about having PCOS but I’m sure a lot of you don’t know as I don’t talk about it all the time either, mainly for two reasons 1. Dwelling & focusing on our health conditions is no good for the mind or body, and 2. No one wants to be that person that complains all the time, I actually want people to hang out with me! 😂 But alas, it’s ok once in a while to let off a bit of steam, raise awareness, and let people know that PCOS can 100% be alleviated & to a degree controlled! However, I made the mistake of letting my lifestyle get a little out of hand (diet is soooo important for those with PCOS) and though I do get large ovarian cysts a few times throughout the year, this is the first time I’ve had one on each ovary at the same time which has sucked massively! 🙈 I’m pretty sure my hormones are totally out of wack as I’ve been upping my training game, and began overhauling my diet, so I’m in this bizarre period where my body is like “what are you doing to me!?”... but even though it’s been a bit crap, and today has been super crap with regards to pain levels, I like to think I’ve now struck a healthy balance where my illness is just part of my life and not something I work my entire life around. It’s not going to get in the way of my goals and I’ve still been training up to 5 times a week as I am accountable to a degree of how badly PCOS affects me, and I know it gets better! You can still live a totally normal, healthy life with PCOS, as long as you stay active, eat healthily, and adapt! It’s in your control! It just takes time to learn, and for me, going mad and eating everything while I travelled probably wasn’t the best decision ever... but I’m working on it again, I’ve done it before, and I know I’ll get on top of it again 💪🏻 If you’re suffering, you can too! 🍑 . . #pcos#pcossucks#pcosweightloss#pcosdiet#pcosawareness#pcosfighter#pcossupport#ovariancyst#soulcysters#girl#apinkhair#vanlife#vanlifeuk#vanlifeeurope#vanlifedreams#traveltheworld#mindovermatter#fitfam#fitnessmotivation#healthyliving#healthylifestyle#girl#alternativelifestyle
