The Random Hug of Kindness (RHoK) Box was given to my 22 year old son by the Calvary Mater Newcastle treatment centre while he was receiving chemo. They were giving a number of boxes to distribute and we must have looked like we could use a hug as they saved one for us. It was a lovely gift of kindness that we both really appreciated. Being hours away from our home, family and friends for weeks was very difficult at times but receiving this thoughtful gift of caring gave us a huge lift in our spirits. This Christmas, our goal is to send 100 RHoK Boxes to cancer patients in hospital. With 26 boxes to go, help us give joy and send a hug today: link in bio. #curecancerau #curecanceraustralia #cancerresearch #christmas
